Trade Scuds!

Hi all,

I have a lot of scuds. I would love to trade some scuds for anything that is not scuds (that will exist happily in a low-tech 3-gal planted tank - so, easy plants or invertebrates). There are so many scuds. They're eating the mossball. They're eating the java moss. They ate the hair algae, which is great, but now they're just breeding and eating everything else.

Cheers,

Joanna

Hi,

I would love some scuds! I have Rotala and Clippings of starogyn repens I can trade. Or if you want a pair of Blue Gularis! Either way, I’m willing to buy some to start up a colony. Let me know.

Same here! Could use some scuds. Got a bunch of different plants and mosses. Let me know if you'll have any left over.

Me too. Where are you located? I have Amazon frogbit (plant) for trade, and also composting worms (red wigglers).

Near Keele and Bloor; totally inexperienced with shipping so would rather not.

Happy to trade for some Staurogyne repens - the gularis sound gorgeous but my tanks probably too small. Want to DM to arrange a handoff?

I think I can supply 4 people with scuds? There are a lot of scuds. Really a lot. Game for any plant that does well in low-light and low-tech - right now I have some lemna, some hornwort, and some bacopa. And a very sad marimo that the scuds are eating. DM to arrange a handoff?

Again, I probably have enough scuds for you, and I'd love to have some Amazon frogbit to break up the lemna monotony. (Oh, it's actually spirodela, now that I think of it. It's outcompeting the wolffia, which I actually like.) DM me to set something up!

JLR .. thanks for posting location. Unfortunately, too far from our location (1/2 hr. n. of Whitby). Too bad as I have lot's of Anubias and Java Ferns (including the more exotic stuff).
