Why is it your favourite? I never knew they had one in Vaughan, is it near Vaughan Mills by any chance?

Big Al's are okay. The manager over at the Scarborough location is always freindly and helpful with me and the North York location fish manager is rather knowledgeable. Careful with the general staff though as some may give you erronious information.

We've had our ups and downs with BA's. The Scarborough location has a great selection and the manager is nice. They carry most of the Seachem line, most places don't so I appreciate that. Neutral vote as well.

The Vaughn big als is great. The staff is helpful kind clean store and yes its beside vaughn mills its in the high land farm region(same plaza). the have great selection of fish and they even tell you all the tips that regular stores like gold ocean aquarium don't tell u.I wanted to buy a pair of german rams from there but i wasn't sure how they would fit into a community tank(40 gallons). But they seemed to be in excellent shape and very rightly coloured. The one in North york is horrible my dad had a big fight with them there and it isn't as clean. The staff are jerks and they sold me a fish that is illegal to sell but i handed it back. They also overcrowd they're tanks there.

Odd since half the staff at Vaughn are from the North York store, including the Manager and the buyer, fishroom staff and clerks. I sell to both locations and they have always been extremely helpful and pleasurable to deal with.

I go to the Scarborough one sometimes. It's not bad in a pinch. I like looking at the fish there, but rarely buy their stock. I didn't know about the Vaughan location either...is it worth checking out? I'm tempted ....
