yeah you are right...New Market is a remote location and i can understand their prices..the green stylo at Vaughan is priced $59.99 as compared to CC at $29.99 for the same size..God someone needs to show these comparisions to them and i dont want to go towards the quality of the frags to be honest...to be fair the staff is great.

Hi Jayson
I was at the Big Als Vaughan yesterday and apparently they have lowered the price of the Green Staghorn to $90 that seems reasonable. I guess someone is reading our posts lol..i bought one colony as i have been patiently waiting on them to lower the price. There is still one left if you are interested. Just thought to inform you and other reefers here...

Scarborough: Great selection (probably biggest I have seen Toronto?) but stereotypical big box store, animals are just $$$ signs that are mistreated. The employees? Well let's just say they probably make minimum wage, if not close to. Encountered super rude employee. I asked if they carried jellybean parrots (convict crossed with bloody parrot) non dyed. Employee rudely cuts me off and talks down to me, stating that those fish are dyed and it's cruel...so I pointed out the giant bloody parrot that had it's tail docked off and advertised as a heart parrot (intensely unnaturally red clearly dyed) he walked away...

Bought a ctenopoma acutirostre, different employee bagged a rasbora in with it, when I pointed out to him, he struggled getting it out, basically stressing the fish out way more than needed. Did not handle fish with care, the abrupt and distain he showed is basically how I bag my dog's poo.

North York: decent selection OMG they had these Beautiful plump healthy 4inch dats for 59.99$. If I had unlimited tank space, I would have grabbed them all.

Some employees are very knowledgeable, others not so much...

BA Scarborough is usually pretty good about keeping healthy fish in their tanks (at least that’s been my experience over the past almost-year), but while there today I saw more dead fish in more tanks than ever before. There are a couple fish I’m looking to add to my tanks but based on what I saw today I won’t be buying livestock there for quite a while. Hopefully they take steps to turn this around.
