Default my best photo for now

I think after the poor snaps for the last little while, this was a great shot for me. The quality of the snap is decent but I guess the timing was just amazing to get all (almost?) the fry in this shot.

Actually got a few others which are equally good but this will be my new wallpaper for a little while.

Special mention for the 2 challenged fry which I didn't think would survive past the first 2 weeks, a blind one in the middle and then there is the one above on the right..a real surviver, very very weak but manages to hang on to the parents and lives from week to week.

BTW moved them into a 46G..hope to keep them for the next month with the parents..currently at 3 weeks free swimming. That will be the longest if the parents don't suffer any harm.

Hi Perry, I've been lucky, the pair has been a source of great joy for us. I've had my share of frustations with raising Discus which drove me away. So when I started again last April, I just got these two from Cam's Aquatics. lots of observations and reading :-)

Ever since they have got the fry care right (3rd time), they have been great parents

Default New Snaps - 8th week

Back home after touring Australia for the last 5 weeks - unfortunately no time to take a break to go diving or watch the whales :-(. Great to be back home !!

Welcome back! How are the fish? Did you eat a lot of seafood in Australia? I watch some program on TV and they have very nice looking seafood.
