Default What kind of pleco is this?

So the guy at the petco sold me this pleco, he said they live for a about a year 🏻 of course I didn't do much research on it and I got it. Is this a common pleco? He or she is already 3.5 inches and a few months old.

They definitely live longer than a year and have the potential to get HUGE. If they don't get huge they'll die young from being stunted.
