Default BNP: What length for sexing?

I got a small bristle nose pleco. My LFS said he'd give me a smaller one for cheaper so naturally i went with it. I know these guys can get to 4 inches so i was wondering, at what length can you sex it? Mine is about 2-2.5 inches and has nothing coming out of its face, is it safe to assume its a female now? or should i wait longer?

Usually at the 2 - 2.5" size you can tell the sex. If you can get a picture it might help to sex.
