Question IS something wrong with this bushynose pleco ?

I was trying to grab a couple pictures of the fish enjoying a block of repashy food, but this little fellow caught my eye.

He's eating fine, moving fine, as far as I can tell, but there is a spot on his head that doesn't look right to me.

I barely see the BNs, honestly - but I'm about 99.9% sure that it was NOT like this before.

I wondered if maybe he'd scraped it or something - but the heater makes sense, since I have seen the BNs on the glass behind the heaters.

BNPs are kind of dumb and like to suck on the heater or the glass right behind it. But I agree with clubsoda - watch it, and see if it gets worse.

I noticed that mine also got kind of "splotchy" whenever they had a growth spurt, but it didn't look quite like that.

Could be a scratch due to it bumping into something...but second pic is kind of making me think could it be fish lice. See if you can net it or take a closer look I have seen them on some GN Plecos I purchased before and returned them immediately. See if it moves or look like a extra layer of skin if you look close enough you can see legs or even eyes. Hope that's not the case and it's just a scratch.

I can assure you, that was not there when I scooped them out of my tanks (She got the BN's off of me)... Is it just that one that has it?

It could be ammonia burnt, I have seen white spots like that on discus when they just came in shipped in a little bags. Also un-established tank/filter doesn't have enough bacteria can cause ammonia spike plus the stress on new fish. But in my case the discus heals though without med just keep an eye on em.

Have you checked your water level? Don't add anymore fish, don't overfeed them and check the water. may need to do water change.
