Hi

I am interested.

We, as a group could trade our discus with each other.
No retailers should be allowed to join the group.
IMO.

thanks

If non-breeders were welcome I'd be game. I could learn to provide a better home for my discus.

Of course anyone who is interested in fish will be welcome. But the question is how to get it started, meeting place and which day/time will be best for all.
My opinion, to start something end of this winter.

Thanks for clarifying loonie

I was in a small informal fish club once and it was a great experience. Ideally someone with a house, the space and nearby parking avail would offer to host the meets. If more space needed later schools and churches have cost effective rooms available.

I always find it difficult to partake in clubs due to the fact that my schedule is all over the place and there are rarely any clubs within close proximity to where I live. I will always contribute to the online chats about the likes of discus, so hopefully you will all share your info with the rest of us. Good luck with this!

Any suggestions for the club's name? How about
Ontario Discus Club "ODC". Most of us become OCD while keeping Discus .

Any one up for a discus meeting in January/February 2013? It will be a good place for all of us to meet each other and share our knowledge and passion for discus.

Hey Poco, I am also located in Mississauga(port credit), if we can come up with some idea where to meet etc, will be good. The only problem in Jan n Feb is the weather. This has to be group involvement, that is a number of us game for it.

Loonie, Jan/Feb is just a suggestion to get the ball rolling.

All, please fire in your suggestions on month and location and we take it from there.

Thanks,

Poco
