![]() I recently had a female bushy nose pleco die in one of my tanks. It took about a day before I noticed and fished her out of the tank. While removing the body, i noticed a number of brown worm like creatures crawling on the inside of the tank. It's a gravel free tank so they were easy to see. They looked like small leeches about 1/2 a centimeter long. When I looked the next morning, there were none to be seen anywhere. I'm not sure if the guppies got them or the two other pleco's did. I'm wondering if they were stomach parasites that decided to move on when the pleco died. Any ideas would be appreciated.
