Curious as to what you are running for lights, the depth of your tank and where they are placed (I assume the bottom, but maybe not).

Not offering advice so much as curious as to your own setup and problems & identifying the possible causes so I will know what to do when I have those same problems too :)

can you be a little more specific about how they are not doing well? are they receding, bleaching, melting away etc.... what are your water parameters?

sometime it just takes moving it to another area of the tank with the right light/flow.

Watch a few youtube videos on how to keep acans. What they really need is moderate light and low/moderate flow to be able to open up. Also growth and happiness comes with feeding. I feed my acans 3-4 times a week and the growth is very good!

My parameters are all in check and stable as I have been checking a few times a week.. My tank is a 75g.. They seem like they are receding I'm just curious as to where they should be placed in a tank.. I'm running a 6 bulb T5HO so there is more than enough light.. Currently I have them in a slightly shaded area

Keep them on the bottom but out of the shade and they should be happy.

I also got an acan from CC. I place mine in the middle of the tank, not shaded and low flow. I feed it every other day with mysis shrimps or pellets. When I feed my fish. It should start growing in no time as mine has already grown 4 heads starting with one.

Did you buy the acan yesterday? How long have u had it in the tank for?
