I currently have a eheim 2215 with pvc plumbing to a diy spray bar. I also have a separate reactor for my co2 following tom barr's design powered by a maxi jet 900. This is also plumbed using 1/2 inch pvc. This connects to the same spray bar of the canister filter via a T junction. The spray bar is angled slightly upward so it is causing small disturbance on the surface of the water. Is this water disruption going to cause some of my co2 to be wasted even before the plants have a chance to use it? Should I have my co2 return on a separate delivery system then the spray bar?

any surface agitation causes co2 loss, so in short the answer is yes. Just don't have the spray bar pointing upwards
