To all who have not been to a MFC meeting they are great fun. I'm a member and we talk fish stuff for hours. Nobody rolls their eyes and blanks out on you like most people do

We have not had any formal auctions, but members (me included) do bring fish, plants, equipment etc. to sell at very good prices. Some members drive quite a ways to attend, even in bad weather.

I would battle the worst of storms and the thickest of fogs to attend the MFC meetings. I live 60 KMs away and even high gas prices wont stop me from attending. Its a great bunch of people and alot of fun. I hear there will be some great deals on Eheim canisters, Corallife lights, NLS and some rare books at the next meeting. (I hope I didnt let the cat out of the bag) So bring some extra cash as you never know who will show up with what. The last meeting there was some excellent quality albino longfin lace plecos (RARE very hard to find) and some awesome plants. I didnt get any cause I wasnt on the ball. Not this time. I will be there early and you know what they say, "The early bird gets the worm".:p

Jason, if you have 28 watt square pin bulbs (6500k) for a decent price please bring one along. I'll bring some plants again for anyone interested... as per usual.

Perhaps the first hour can be used to discuss matters concerning the executive council, and treasury board;)

What Matters are you concerned about ??

A board will be selected during the first meeting.

As for a treasury, well to have one you have to have something to put in it and funds raised during the first meeting will be used to secure a meeting location for the remaining year.

Don't forget guys meeting is this Wednesday at 7pm

Please come out and show your support for the MFC, we can't do it without it.
If you don't feel like buying a year membership feel free to still come out and make a donation by doing this your still a supporting member, you will not get any discounts on MFC vendor gear but it is a cheap way to come out and get a feel for the club and how it all works.

Thanks and hope to see many of you there !!

Too busy trying to reorganize the fish room right now.....I added a 5' rack this weekend that will hold 2x30g and either 2x 10g and a 20 or 4x10g. If my fish don't stop laying eggs I will have to kick the family out :)

LOL....good thing i know where you live and the Timmy's is right on the way (all 5 of them :) )

You will have to pop up here and see the new fish room when it is done
