Hey, just wanted to see if I could change up my Pleco only tank a bit. I have my L345's and L134's in a bare bottom with caves and a ton of drift wood.

Could I add plants that attach themselves to wood? And if so which ones could I use? Thanks!

Also since it's a bare bottom, It's super easy to clean up and easy for them to eat but is there a "perfect" substrate for them?

Thanks for your help!

Some plants you can attach to wood or rocks etc are;

Anubias come in many vaieties
Java Fern comes in many varieties.
Bucephelandra (rare).

You may also try using a clay pot with soil/ substrate in it to grow stems plants etc..

I'd stick with Java/Windelov fern, Anubias, and Java moss. You can make a nice planted tank out of those three without ever needing substrate. You can tie all of them down to wood and grow them nicely. With the java moss, lay a bunch of parallel strands down length wise on the wood, tieing every inch or so with fishing line and the moss will grow in a nice thatched carpet.
