The speaker is Gary Lange who will be speaking on rainbowfish and his experiences in New Guinea. For more info www.dras.ca . For those interested, he will have available some eggs that can be brought to the event if pre-ordered. More info on that will follow on the DRAS site.

I have attended two other presentations by Gary Lange in the past.

He is an excellent photographer as well as an expert on Freshwater Rainbows.

Nice to see the interest, especially from those who aren't members of DRAS, or any other clubs. Typically these events are attended by the hardcore and they come from all over. Those that are closer should try to take it in. This is DRAS' first event of the year to be followed by Aquariama, and the CAOAC Convention. Everyone's support is much appreciated. You do not have to be a member to attend. DRAS (as do all the other clubs) tries to offer up interesting and useful events open to the public; this is one of them.

Terry and Zenin (from KWAS) have attended many of these events if not all of them. I will be attending this event as well as our Vice President (three of the five Executive!)
KWAS is planning a dinner event for sometime in the fall if everything goes well. We are beginning our planning now and hopefully should have something to announce before summer.
