Well, some geek hacked and shut down the MFC Site

vbulletin has some great tools.. vbAdvanced works like php fusion. The downside is it's not free. It's secure though!

Yea I was thinking of PHPBB or Vbulletin if I am feeling rich.

little to nothing I can do, the site was 100% web based and with no means to get into it I can do nothing.

Why do people pick on the little guy ??

The same jackass might do other stupidness if you get the site back up though... maybe a DNS or DOS spam.

That is my worry, they come from a group that hack sites as trophies..kinda sick if you ask me.

I went on and what happened!!!! Sucks that some loser had the time on their hands to destroy such a harmless site. They would do better if the hacked all the porn sites out there and shut them down.

Thanks, as it stands I have 3 options

-1 Build a new site/forum

-2 Join a already established forum

-3 Scrap it all and count my losses

I am on the fence as to what to do ??
