I have a 55 Gallon with 5 black skirt tetras ~2 inch, 1 Gold gourami ~4 inch (mean - has eaten smaller neons before,chases black skirts a bit).

Will any of my fish bother them? Will the rummy-nose tetras be fast enough to get away?

oh for sure, rummys are super fast. They take a bit to acclimate to the tank, but once they are in there, you will be fine.

Thanks, does anyone know of a cheap place to get rummy-nose tetras of good quality in the North York Scarborough area? I would like to get 15-25 of them depending on price, is that too many?

Not sure about the Big Al's, but Menagerie gets theirs from a local breeder (at least the times I've been there), and they're always done great for me.
