Hi, i have a 29g mixed reef with lot of lps and few sps, 6 fish and 29 lbs live rock. Flow I have are 2 hydor 600 and a hydor nano 425, my plan is can I just run a skimmer along with a medium size HOB refugium only without a sump or any other filter? The size of the refugium is 18" length by 4" width.

My 34G solana has 3 mini chambers in the back with a skimmer (that many people say is inferior), a 4x4x6 inch chamber where i keep some live rock and chemipure... and the last chamber is only housing my return pump.
Aquarium has been in full health for over 3 years now... So i dont see why you would have problems.
Sump isnt required.... Its just nicer to look at, and work on, then having stuff hanging off your tank

What kinda livestock u have in ur tank and what kinda skimmer u have?

this is correct, but there is one more important issue - you have additional volume of the water and could have much more LR. This will make your system much more stable from chemical point of view.
small volume of the water one of the reasons why nano tanks crash more often and much faster.
