I recently ordered some plants online and I have am wondering about bulb sizes. I have had aponogeton crispus before and it had a large bulb about an inch wide so i was expecting the bulb i ordered to be about the same but it is only about 7 or 8mm across. the bulb i received for the Nyphaea zenkeri (tiger lotus) is also incredibly small, even smaller than the other bulb. it came with about 4-5 1" to 1 1/2" leaves on it which have since either fallen off or dissolved. I'm wondering if that is normal and if they are even big enough to survive. i put the lotus(lily) in a pot and the other one directly in the gravel... thanks :)
