OMG they look SO cute. How fast do they grow? I know they can't live in a 10gal forever and I don't have a 200gal that's 4 meters long. Just curious how long they could live in a 10gal before needing to either upgrade to a larger tank or passing them off someone else?

clown loaches make a great addition to an african tank. I have 7 of them in my 125 gallon african tank and they provide a great schooling look. I would definitely not recommend buying just one or two.

What do you mean by you never have good luck with theM? as in they die? I think clown loaches are suscpetible to ich. In order to prevent that, I keep my water temperature at the higher end. I believe in keeping my temperature at a higher level to prevent disease outbreaks. I also of course do weekly water changes. With that, I've never had problems keeping clown loaches.

yah.. they are fresh water fish, so should go well with most. in my opinion, I think they go really well with african cichlids.
